Cruise of Hydra
Where are we going?
Starting from the port of Hydra, the route follows the coast past Spilia, Hydronetta, and Avlaki, rocky and pebbled spots ideal for diving and swimming. It continues to Kamini and Small Kamini, then to Vlychos and Plakes Vlychou, well-known for their organized beaches, family-friendly atmosphere, chapels, and seaside tavernas. Beyond Vlychos, the coastal path leads to Palamida, Molos, Kaoumithi, and Bisti, followed by the quiet beaches of Agios Georgios.
and then?
Rounding the southwestern coast, the route reaches Agios Nikolaos before turning south along steeper shores to Nisiza, Klimaki, Limnioniza, and Karali. The circuit continues past Cape Zourva, Zoodochou Pigi, Ledeza, Kasteva, Marouleza, and Kritami, ending at Mandraki, Hydra’s old war port with its sandy beach, before returning via Kamaritsa and Gourna to the lighthouse and main port of Hydra.
